An iPhone 15 or later, an iPad or a MacBook connects directly over USB-C to USB-C; a USB-A to USB-C version also links a charger or a computer with a USB-A port.
Charging stated at up to 100 W
The stated power reaches 100 W, enough to power an iPad or a MacBook with an adapter of sufficient power; the 1.8 m USB-C to USB-C version is limited to 60 W. Data passes at USB 2.0 speed, i.e. 480 Mbit/s.
Braided sheath and alloy connectors
The braiding limits wear from rubbing in a bag or under a seat. Stated materials: aluminium alloy for the connectors, TPE and polypropylene yarn for the cable.
A coil that tidies itself away
In the car, at the desk or by the bed, the cable does not trail: the coil pulls it back on itself as soon as it is no longer stretched. Two lengths are offered, 1.2 m and 1.8 m, depending on the version.

Frequently asked questions
Is this cable compatible with my iPhone?
Yes, if your iPhone has a USB-C port: the USB-C to USB-C Retractable Coiled Braided Cable for Car Use charges the iPhone 15 and later, iPads and MacBooks with a USB-C port and AirPods with a USB-C case, plugged into a charger or computer with a USB-C port. For an iPhone 14 or earlier, which has a Lightning port, choose a cable with a Lightning connector.
Do all the versions have the same connectors?
No, the Black - USB-A to USB-C version has a USB-A connector at one end and USB-C at the other, while the other two have a USB-C connector at each end. Check the port on your charger or computer before choosing.
Which lengths and power ratings are offered?
Two lengths exist, 1.2 m and 1.8 m. In USB-C to USB-C, the 100 W version is 1.2 m and the 60 W version is 1.8 m; the USB-A to USB-C version exists in both lengths.
Can I fast-charge an iPhone with this cable?
Yes, on an iPhone with a USB-C port, with a USB-C to USB-C version and a USB-C Power Delivery wall adapter of 20 W or more. A cable with a USB-A connector does not allow fast charging of an iPhone.
Is this cable suitable for charging an iPad or a MacBook?
Yes, with a USB-C adapter of sufficient power: the USB-C to USB-C version states up to 100 W at 1.2 m and 60 W at 1.8 m. A charger less powerful than the original one lengthens the charging time.
Does this cable also transfer data?
Yes, at USB 2.0 speed, i.e. 480 Mbit/s stated. It suits syncing and transferring photos, but is slower than a USB 3 cable for large files.
Does the cable retract by itself?
Yes, the coil pulls the cable back on itself as soon as it is no longer stretched. Avoid stretching it beyond its reach, as this may deform the coil.
Can it be used in the car?
Yes, the coil stops the cable trailing between the console and the seat, from the charger to the phone. You need a car charger whose socket, USB-A or USB-C, matches the version chosen.
What are the connectors and the sheath made of?
The connectors are stated as aluminium alloy and the braided sheath as polypropylene yarn. Always unplug by holding the connector rather than the cable, to protect the connection.
How do I care for the braided sheath?
Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then let it dry before plugging back in. Avoid knotting it or bending it at a sharp angle.
