How do I remove the grip from the back of the iPhone?

Slide it sideways rather than pulling straight on it: a sharp pull can damage the silicone. It can then be put back in the same place or elsewhere on the back of the iPhone.

Is the magnet enough to hold the iPhone in the hand?

Yes, it locks onto the MagSafe magnetisation of the iPhone or the case and is suitable for everyday handling. It is not designed to hold the iPhone in the event of a knock or a jolt.

Can I charge the iPhone wirelessly with the grip in place?

No, it is better to remove it before placing the iPhone on a wireless charger: the ring sits between the iPhone and the charger and can interfere with charging. It can be put back afterwards.

Does a thick case change the hold?

Yes, the thicker the case, the weaker the magnet's hold. A MagSafe case, designed to let the magnetisation through, is better suited than an ordinary case.

Does it also work as a kickstand for propping up the iPhone?

No, it is for holding the iPhone in the hand; it is not designed as a kickstand for standing it up in landscape or portrait.
