Is the housing really waterproof?

Yes, it is stated to be IPX8 waterproof, but it is better to treat it as resistant to rain and splashes. Screw the cover back on firmly after each opening.

Which surfaces does the magnet hold on?

On steel or iron surfaces, such as a chassis, a frame or bodywork. It does not hold on plastic, wood or aluminium.

Can the magnet come off on the road?

Yes, it is possible on an uneven or rusty surface, or one subject to strong vibration. Choose a flat, clean spot and check the hold from time to time.

Can the metal the housing is fixed to interfere with the signal?

Yes, a spot entirely surrounded by metal can weaken the AirTag's signal. It is better to fix the housing on an outer, partly open face than in a closed cavity.

How do I look after the housing?

A soft, slightly damp cloth is enough. After exposure to water, dry the thread of the cover and the base before putting the AirTag back.

What is the difference between the single unit and the pack of two?

Only the number of housings changes: one or two, all identical. The AirTags are not included.
