Find your bike if it is stolen
Hidden in the steerer tube under the fork, the AirTag cannot be seen: a thief is unlikely to spot it, and the Find My app on your iPhone shows where the bike is. The location updates whenever an Apple device passes nearby.
AirTag held under a screw-on cover
The AirTag sits between the base and the black cover, on a flat seal. The cover screws onto the base and closes the housing.
Locked inside the steerer tube
The plug slots into the end of the fork's steerer tube and locks by expansion as the screw is tightened: no clamp or strap to fasten on the frame.
Knurled aluminium, matte black cover
The aluminium body is knurled for a firm grip when tightening, and the black plastic cover stays matte. A flat seal under the cover limits dust and water getting in, without guaranteeing full waterproofing.

Frequently asked questions
Is this accessory compatible with my AirTag?
Yes, the AirTag Bike Mount Aluminium Fork Steerer Tube Expansion Plug is designed for Apple's AirTag, which sits in a recess made to its size. The AirTag is not included.
Is the mount suitable for every bike?
No, it is made for a steerer tube with a 28.6 mm outside diameter, with an expansion range of 21.5 to 25.4 mm. Check these measurements on your fork before ordering.
How do I install the mount in the steerer tube?
Insert the plug into the end of the tube, tighten the screw to expand and lock it, then fit the seal, the AirTag and the cover, which you screw on.
Does the mount interfere with the AirTag's signal?
No, the AirTag sits in the plastic cover, above the aluminium body, which limits signal attenuation. The metal fork around it may reduce the signal slightly, however.
Does the mount withstand rain?
Yes, a flat seal under the cover limits water and dust getting in: count on resistance to splashes and rain, not immersion.
Is the mount visible on the bike?
Yes, but discreetly: it is a black disc 3.7 cm wide, placed at the end of the steerer tube, under the fork.
How do I change the AirTag's battery?
Unscrew the cover, take out the AirTag, replace the battery as usual, then put the AirTag back on the seal and screw the cover back on.
How do I look after the mount?
A soft, slightly damp cloth is enough. After a ride in the rain, dry the seal and the thread before closing the cover.
What is included in the order?
One complete mount, with its aluminium expansion plug and black cover. The AirTag is not included.
