Rectangular magnet and attachment plates
The magnetic block holds a metal plate stuck to the back of the phone or under its case; two plates are supplied, one rectangular and one round. The phone goes on and comes off with one hand.
Soft base resting on the dashboard
The soft base sits on top of the dashboard, flat or slightly curved, with no drilling or screwing. The curved arm raises the phone into your line of sight.
Adjustable head for reading the GPS
The magnetic head tilts to turn the screen towards the driver, and the GPS can be read at a glance. The photos show the phone in portrait; adjust the angle while stationary.
Compact, the cable runs freely
With no built-in charging, the mount leaves the cable plugged straight into the phone. Compact, it measures about 5.5 cm high and stays discreet on top of the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Is this mount compatible with my iPhone?
Yes, the MagSafe Car Mount Dashboard Curved Arm Rectangular Magnet holds any MagSafe iPhone by magnet, from the iPhone 12 to recent models, bare or in a MagSafe-compatible case. For an older iPhone or a case with no magnet, you need to add an adhesive metal ring.
What are the two metal plates supplied for?
They stick to the back of the phone or its case: the magnet on the mount clings to them. One is rectangular, the other round with a hole in the centre; choose the one that fits best under the case.
Do I need to stick a plate on a MagSafe iPhone?
No, not necessarily: the magnet on the mount attracts a MagSafe iPhone. The plate is for phones with no magnet and for cases that are not compatible.
Does the magnet hold the phone on bumpy roads?
Yes, the magnet holds the phone against the block, but the grip depends on the weight of the device, the case and the position of the plate. Test it while stationary by gently shaking the phone before driving.
Where should I fit the base in the car?
On top of the dashboard, as shown in the photos: the soft base adapts to a flat or slightly curved surface. Clean the area before fitting and press the base down well.
How do I position the phone?
The head tilts by hand to turn the screen towards you; the photos show the phone in portrait. Always adjust the angle while stationary.
Does this mount charge the phone?
No, it is a magnetic mount with no charging: the description states that there is no charger. The cable plugs straight into the phone.
How do I remove the base from the dashboard?
If the base is stuck down, gently warm it with a hairdryer then peel it off slowly, from one corner to the other. A grained or delicate dashboard may keep a mark; clean off any residue with a soft cloth.
How does the mount cope with the heat in the cabin?
The description gives no temperature limit. Avoid leaving the phone in the sun behind the windscreen: heat can soften the plastic and the adhesive, and weakens the magnets.
